Kvika banki and Virding hf. merged at the end day today and the merged company will open on Monday 20 November under the name and ID number of Kvika. Upon merging, Kvika takes over all the rights and obligations of Virding.

The activities of the merged companies will now all be conducted from Kvika’s headquarters in Borgartún 25.

The merging of the companies does not entail any changes for customers. The email addresses and desk phone numbers of the Virding personnel will, however, change, and information on all email addresses and phone numbers can be found on the bank’s website www.kvika.is.

Kvika is one of the biggest asset management companies in the country and, following the merger, will be managing ISK 285 billion.
